When
is the museum open?
Every afternoon, by appointment.
Open all holidays when no appointments
are necessary. Check
for times
Why
can I not make an appointment for the time
I asked for?
It depends on a few factors:
— size of group (a large group may
have already booked that time)
— whether Candace & Steve have personal commitments for time requested
— the media may be filming and have requested no visitors during their
interview
How
much does it cost? 1 bag, 1 bunch, or 1
package of vegetables or fruits per person for
the real
bunnies.
Or a POTTED GARDEN PLANT OR HERB for their vegetable
garden.
Or $5 suggested donation per person, so the museum
can buy hay for the real bunnies.
Children under 4 are free.
ALL
MEDIA MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT Ambush media

without prior permission.

Do
you accept donations?
Not real bunnies.
Yes, we do accept donated bunny items in person or by
mail.
How
long is the appointment?
That depends upon how much you love bunnies!
Tours are set for one hour, but some stay less and some
more. Bunny lovers can stay as (reasonably) long as they
like. Most visitors find they can't possibly see everything
in one visit and hop back again, and again.
Is
the museum appropriate for children?
Yes!
Only cute bunnies in this museum!
Is
there parking?
Yes.
Street parking.
Can
I take pictures of the museum?
Yes.
You may not move any items or use any items for your photo.
Why
do you not want people to bring carrots
for your real bunny pets?
We get too many carrots from visitors!
Because that's what everyone thinks of bringing first !
Our bunnies love carrots
(as does Bugs Bunny), but that's
not all they eat.
Please think of bringing FRESH: broccoli, spinach, kale,
cilantro, parsley, cabbage, green peppers, romaine lettuce
(not iceberg), basil, mint, apples, cherries,
bananas, strawberries, pineapple, pears, raspberries, peaches,
and tomatoes.
Should
I cut up the vegetables and fruit I bring
for the real bunnies?
No!
In nature, bunnies don't use knives. They cut up their
food with their teeth. And the fresh food you bring will
stay fresher longer, if you don't cut it up! Thanks for
caring to think you need to, though.
Can
I bring a wheelchair into the museum?
Yes.
Can
I bring a stroller into the museum?
No.
Would
the museum be interested in purchasing
a bunny item that has been in my family
for years?
No.
We do not buy unsolicited bunny products.
Can
I bring my pet bunny with me during
my appointment? Yes, but you will not
be able to let them hop around on the floor.
S/He will leave a scent that will upset the museum's
house bunnies.
Can
I bring a gift for Candace and Steve?
That would
be lovely. It is their home they are opening
up to you, afterall. They appreciate
that you want to bring them a house gift
such
as
flowers,
chocolates,
or wine (e.g. Rabbit Ridge) as a thank
you.
Do
you have an Easter egg hunt?
No.
What
is your Halloween Open House like?
It is a very popular, kids-friendly
Haunted House with strobes, red lights,
black lights, and dry ice. Very
dark atmosphere. (Adults may ask for a flashlight to peer
into unlit glass cases.) No blood or guts. Spooky music.
Hop in the front door and run out the back door! People
that dress up as a bunny get a bunny gift, not just candy!
No charge.
Why
does The Bunny Museum sponsor The Angel
Festival?
Because Candace Frazee founded
The Angel Festival. She has written three
award-winning books about life after death. http://candacefrazee.com The
Bunny Museum is a proud sponsor of this
annual family, fun festival
and has
a booth
selling bunny
angels. www.theangelfestival.com
Will
Candace and Steve be there for my appointment?
Yes. They live in the museum.
